Shopping Important Unimportant Things // Haul

I am usually quite frugal and I grew up with respect for money, but sometimes I really don't know what goes through my head when I'm shopping. Important? Unimportant? That is up for you to decide...

I Love Saturdays // My Life

This is not a real post, but more like some pictures from yesterday where I was reading Paper Towns all day, grilled burgers and just enjoyed the weather.

NEW BOOKS!

New books!

I Just bought two new books, while I was in London. "Paper Towns", and "Will Grayson, Will Grayson" by John Green and David Levihan. I've wanted those books since April, where I bought "Looking for Alaska" and "The Fault In Our Stars." The first John Green books I'd ever read.

Quote

"I do not say goodbye. I believe that's one of the bullshitiest words ever invented. It's not like you're given the choice to say bad-bye, or aweful-bye, or couldn't-care-less-about-you-bye. Everytime you leave, it's supposed to be a good one."
- John Green, Paper Towns

(I literally love this quote so much it's unbelievable *_______*)

Nerds - John Green

"Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself."
...
"Because nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff. We don't have to be like, 'Oh yeah that purse is okay' or like, 'Yeah, I like that band's early stuff.' Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can't-control-yourself-love it. Hank, when people call people nerds, mostly what they are saying is, 'You like stuff', which is just not a good insult at all, like 'You are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness'."

- John Green

My favourite author of all time. Thank you for standing up for the nerds.
