Ask C:ndy + Update On What's Happening // My Life
Some of you have been asking me some questions on my social medias, and I'm going to answer them here + What's happening in my life at the moment. You might not care at all, but I'm just gonna share it anyway!

Food Adventure (In London): THE BEST!
The best food I got, while I was in London, wasn't in Covent Garden, Oxford Street or any of the other fancy places in London. It was a street kitchen on Portobello Road (Portobello Road is also a fancy place in London, but with delicious food!)
The best food I got was defiantly this grilled chicken salad with onions. It tastes even more yummy, than it looks!
As I was walking down Portobello Road, enjoying the atmosphere and how the rain drops silently hit the pavement I got tempted by all this delicious food. Hot Dogs, ribs, falafels, crêpes, coffee shops, noodles. I wasn't hungry, so I kept walking, until I saw this nice lady grilling chicken and it smelled like a big barbecue party in the middle of july! I quickly became hungry! You could get it as a sandwich or as salad. You might know, I have this weird love for bread, but at that time I just wanted some real vegetables after eating so much fried food. I don't regret it!
I began raining a lot, just after I'd bought the salad, so I found shelter under a roof. While standing there eating my chicken salad and watching the rain falling in London, I felt really happy. Everything just seemed so right. H. C. Andersen was right. To travel is to live.
Later, when the rain got really bad and my jacket was soaked in water, I seeked shelter in a coffee shop, where I sat for an hour drinking coffee and reading (So hipster, I know... lol).
If you're ever going to London, drinking coffee and eating on Portobello Road is a MUST!

Joe & The Juice
Have you ever been on Joe & The Juice?
Joe & The Juice is a juice bar (No shit, Sherlock?) with delicious juices, shakes, sandwiches, coffee and now also salads.
Joe and The Juice have stores in United Kingdom, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, thirty stores in Denmark and they are also rumored to come to The States soon! If you ever come across a Joe & The Juice, you need to try their sandwich! It's a bit pricy (Depends on how many billions you have on your bank account), so it's not something you can eat every day, but you're also allowed to treat yourself sometimes!
They just opened a store close to my dance studio, and I'm totally fine with that!
My favourite sandwich is defiantly the "Tunacado" with tuna mousse and avocado, and the "Spicy Tuna" with tuna mousse, jalapeños and tabasco. My favourite juice is the "Hell of a Nerve" with strawberry, banana and elderflower.
The juicebar is great and I would love to work there (If it wasn't because they only hire hot guys - Not that, it's a problem with hot guys behind the counter - I don't complain!), but it doesn't beat my love for coffee shops. Of course it depends on the person, but I'm more a coffee/tea-person.
They just began making salads, and I really want to try the crayfish salad next time I'm there.

What I Did: New Year's Eve
Hey, guys!
I knooooooooooow this is a bit late, BUT!
I made a quick picture-blog-post-thing of what I did New Year's Eve. I decided to stay home with my parents, because I didn't want to get all drunk with a lot of people I don't like, that's just a sad way of celebrating the last day of the year... Anyway! Hope you enjoy this post!
10:30am (I love sleeping... Don't judge me...)
I started my day out with a White Chocolate Mocha Starbucks (Not a bad way to start your day), and made some scrambled eggs with some fruits.
12pm
After breakfast I took a long bath with the Twilight from Lush, some fruit, salted peanuts, music and some homework (Why not?).
The rest of the day I helped my in the kitchen, cleaned my room, made some homework, watched some movies and just walked around and enjoyed the day.
5 - 7pm
I cooked and prepared dinner with my mother. Garlic barbecued ribs, with Thai Som Tam and Indian Naan Bread with garlic. This family just loves garlic! Who doesn't?
9 pm
DESSERT! Yes, I did choose the desserts, and I chose strawberry cake from Lagkagehuset (A good bakery in Denmark). Strawberry cake was the first English word I learned, when I went to Italy at the age of 7? I guess?
And I've never forgotten that word since!
MIDNIGHT - 2014!
As I watched the clock struck 12 on television live from Copenhagen Town Hall, I toasted with coconut water (Because I'm still against alcohol) and jumped into the new year - 2014.
I then ran outside with eight blankets (Still wearing pj's - Because that's how I celebrate New Year's Eve) and watched how the dark sky turned into these beautiful colors looking like The Northern Lights. I stood outside the house for a long time and looked over the whole town spend thousand of dollars.
And let me just say... You wouldn't be able to see how the financial crisis has affected Denmark. Affected Denmark? As if... People in Denmark are talking financial crises? Bullshit. We don't have any form for crisis here in Denmark.... Settle for one car instead of two? That's not crisis.
1am
After watching the fireworks I went inside, where we had bought macarons from La Glace (One of the finest patisseries in Denmark). One for each of us. Mocha/coffee, raspberry and forrest fruit (Of course I had the coffee one!) They tasted amazing!
2:30am
